• Like most of the youma in the series, this one had no official name.
• Another one appeared in episode 20. It simply distracted Sailor Moon before quickly disappearing.
• In Japanese film and television depictions of ninja characters, the warrior sometimes uses a body substitution strategy. This entailed the ninja replacing his or her body with some kind of inanimate object during an attack. The technique might be based on the real life kawarimi technique.
