I always tell myself I’m going to take a break from all the idol postings and put up some screencaps of the ladies acting, and then I don’t. Well, today you get screencaps! …Of Ayaka Komatsu playing a maid hostess. (Someone asked me about Ayaka being typecast once, and I said I didn’t think she was; I’m beginning to rethink my opinion on that.)
Anyway, here’s some caps from Ayaka Komatsu’s appearance in episode nine of the 2011 drama “Erika the Secret Agent,” which looks really entertaining actually. Former special agent assassin turned housewife who takes on odd spy jobs in her downtime? I’ll watch that. Erika’s job this episode is to protect Saori Sawamura (played by Sayuri Iwata), another maid who is being stalked and harrassed for partaking in a grand prix contest meant to determine which active hostess is the best. The winner will receive an idol contract.
This looks like it’ll be entertaining enough, but I really can’t suspend my disbelief to the point where Ayaka Komatsu (or Risa Shiroishi in this universe) isn’t an idol. Sorry, show! I’ll keep watching you anyway.
