After Mew Azama got her hair cut, she apparently needed to go on TV with long hair. It’s possible they were waiting to debut the new cut in AneCan or elsewhere. Their solution was to slap a wig on Mew, which would have looked terrible, had they not saved the look with an adorable hat.
