Here’s the first teaser for Takeshi Furusawa’s “Roommate" (out Nov. 9) starring Keiko Kitagawa and Kyoko Fukada.

In the film, Kitagawa plays a young woman named Harumi who is involved in a car accident and rushed to the hospital. While there, she becomes friendly with her nurse, Reiko (Fukada) and the two decide to share an apartment together after she’s discharged. Over time, Harumi witnesses a series of bizarre events and begins to feel threatened by Reiko’s increasingly strange behavior.

Kengo Kora also stars as Kensuke, the man who causes Harumi’s accident but later shows concern and becomes close with her.

A movie version of the NTV drama “Akumu-chan" starring Keiko Kitagawa will be released in 2014.

In the show, Kitagawa plays a schoolteacher named Ayami Mutoi who helps a student named Yuiko Koto (Manatsu Kimura), aka “Akumu-chan", analyze her prophetic dreams in order to prevent the misfortunes they predict.

In the film version, a new transfer student named Kanji begins appearing in the dreams of several students. Yuiko also sees him in her dreams, but she’s hesitant to tell Ayami because in the dreams he appears as a boy prince whom she’s in love with.

Fellow cast members include GACKT, Yuka, Fumiyo Kohinata, Ryuta Sato, and Manami Honjo.

There better be some epic selfies with this somewhere.

Like most of the youma in the series, this one had no official name.
Another one appeared in episode 20. It simply distracted Sailor Moon before quickly disappearing.
In Japanese film and television depictions of ninja characters, the warrior sometimes uses a body substitution strategy. This entailed the ninja replacing his or her body with some kind of inanimate object during an attack. The technique might be based on the real life kawarimi technique.
