Now that you bring that up, I could see this being a continuation of Rei’s complete breakdown after Minako dies in PGSM. First she transforms and works out her aggression on some monsters, and then there’s at least a moment where she realizes she has to go on without Minako. And that hurts so much she almost can’t do it.
She does of course because she can practically hear Minako lecturing her about the mission from beyond the grave like, I get it Minako, sacred duty blahblahblah, can you give me a second to get my shit together before your ghost is hounding my ass?

Obviously we’ve been on a non-schedule lately and focusing on reblogs. I’ve been drowning underneath the leviathan that is graduate school this week. On Monday, I’m hoping we’ll be back to our regular schedule.
My plan was to do an Aya Sugimoto day - which is especially fortuitous because I finally was able to find and download some scans from two of her photobooks!
If you know anything about Aya Sugimoto, you know she’s very open with her sexuality and frequently poses nude. I’ve generally made a rule about not posting nudes here, but when I asked myself why, I couldn’t come up with a good argument. If it was exploitative, I’d want no part of it, but if you think Aya Sugimoto is being subtly manipulated by some mustache twirling puppet master…
Nevertheless, some people don’t want nudity all over their dashboard, and I completely respect that, so I didn’t want to just spring it on you. I won’t post any nudity Monday, but the next time an Aya Sugimoto day comes around, I might - unless there’s a very strong objection from the community.
I’m already working on tagging gravure photobooks with ‘gravure’ and/or ‘NSFW.’ In the future, I’ll add the tag ‘nudity’ when appropriate. This way you can blacklist the tag using Tumblr Savior or a similar extension. If you’d like me to tag anything else for your blacklist(s), let me know, and I’m happy to oblige.
BTW it’s worth noting that there is a vaaaast difference between still-clothed Aya Sugimoto NSFW and pretty much any other NSFW content on the blog. Something to keep in mind.
If for whatever reason, TS won’t work for you, I am also going to post a day ahead of time when it’s going to be an Aya Sugimoto Gets Naked! kind of a day, so you can unfollow for 24 hours/foreverrrrrr if you want.
